Hi, I'm Alicia. I'm a digital freelancer with a love for development, content, and trust & safety.
I love building products end to end, from a client's fashion e-commerce platform to a self-hosted moderation bot that replaced a third-party API before it got shut down. That usually means full-stack development with React, Next.js, and .NET, but sometimes it's a Python data pipeline, or a WordPress site built from scratch in PHP for a non-profit.
I'm drawn to projects where the details matter and the work means something. If it feels like a good fit (or you just want to say hi), I'd love to hear from you!
When I'm away from my desk, I love getting lost in a good book, playing games and hanging out with my dog.
FULLSTACK DEVELOPMENT
I work across the stack, from .NET backends and APIs to React and Next.js frontends. Recent work includes Magato, an end-to-end fashion portfolio and e-commerce platform with a headless CMS and custom admin panel, and a WordPress site built from scratch in PHP for a non-profit. I focus on code that's easy to read, extend, and maintain.
UX/UI DESIGN
I design interfaces that look great and feel intuitive to use. I can handle visual identity, design systems, and prototyping, and I stay involved from the first sketch through final handoff.
TRUST & SAFETY
I build moderation systems for online communities, including SentryBot, a Discord bot that scores messages in real time using a self-hosted ML toxicity model and routes flagged content to a human review queue with a full audit trail. When the original third-party detection API announced a 2026 shutdown, I replaced it mid-project with a locally hosted model to remove vendor risk.
DATA ENGINEERING
I build pipelines that turn raw data into something usable. My OSINT pipeline automates global web scraping, uses LLMs to summarize incoming documents, and sends real-time alerts to volunteer teams, exporting structured insights directly into live dashboards for ongoing monitoring.
CYBERSECURITY
I've completed case studies in incident response, risk analysis, and security fundamentals — including a network traffic (PCAP) investigation, a fintech risk assessment referencing NIST CSF, NIST SSDF, OWASP Top 10, and CIS Controls, and a foundational study on threat actors and AI's impact on the threat landscape.
